Get the Perfect Sun-Kissed Glow with These Makeup Tips

People have been using makeup since 4,000 BC, and ever since then, the use of makeup has only become even more popular. Today, there are all sorts of makeup looks you can try and experiment with. But when it comes to glowing skin, there are a few makeup tips you can try to get a sun-kissed glow.

But where should you start? What kind of makeup for glowing skin should you use? Keep reading and learn more about what you need to consider when learning how to get glowing skin with makeup.

Use Enough Bronzer but Not Too Much

If you want to get a sun-kissed glow makeup look, then your main makeup option of choice is going to be bronzer. Bronzer is normally used for contouring the face, but in this case, you will be using it across your entire face. It is very important to use the right shade of bronzer for your skin.

If you use a shade of bronzer that is too light, it will only end up looking like a regular foundation. If you end up using a bronzer that is too dark, you’re going to end up looking very orange and unnatural. Instead, you should opt for a bronzer that matches your natural skin when it is tanned.

If you don’t tend to tan, then choose a bronzer that is only slightly darker than your natural skin. Then, use the bronzer across most of your face including your cheeks, jaw, forehead, and nose. As long as you use the right amount, you will already start to notice your face looking more sun-kissed, especially if you blend it with a warm blush.

Be sure that you don’t use too much bronzer. Too much bronzer is always a bad thing as it can make your skin look very orange and fake. If you think you’ve put on too much bronzer, brush some off and add some highlighter to your face to counteract the look.

Don’t Forget Your Blush and Highlighter

If you only use bronzer on your face and nothing else, your face is going to look dull and unusually dark. You need to blend it with other products if you want to look sun-kissed. In particular, you’ll need to choose a good blush.

Powder blush works well, but it may not brighten your complexion. Instead, try using a cream blush and spread it across your cheeks and nose. It should be a relatively warm-toned blush to match with the bronzer.

It will give you the look that you’ve been out in the sun for a long while. Don’t put too much blush on or you might look sunburned. The last step is to add the highlighter.

As with the other products, you won’t want to use too much highlighter. Instead of putting it on your entire face, you’ll only want to put it on the parts of your face that naturally reflect light. Add it to your nose, eyelids, cheekbones, and a little bit on your forehead or chin.
