There are many different beauty products to choose from, and some are definitely better than others. You have much better chance of finding fine, boutique hair and makeup products at your hair salon than say, at your standard over the counter distributor such as a drug store or grocery store. Plus your stylist will know the true capabilities of the products and how to put them into action!

In this article will be talking about a few of the products offered by Davines and how they can be used to achieve professional, runway-quality hair styles.

To achieve an elegantly texturized, regal updo such as this, the stylist at your favorite hair salon will have to start with a bit prep.

They’ll most likely start by washing your hair with Davines Prep Shampoo to get your hair and scalp, not only clean but hydrated. The next step to prepare your hair would be the Prep Mild Cream to further nourish and hydrate your hair, and help elasticize it.

On to styling! The best product to give body and support to your hair during the styling process is Davines’ ‘Blow Dry Primer’. This is how your stylist will e able to create that larger-than-life, yet still natural looking volume.

To hold everything together, your stylist would apply Davines Perfect Hair Spray, which is a virtually invisible mist that has a medium hold. To finish of the look, your stylist may even use a fine texturizing powder such as Davines Volume Creator.

Perfectly styled waves, that work on the runway … or the windswept seashore, which is what the style is modeled after.

Again, we’ll have to start with some Davines Prep Shampoo and some Mild Cream, but if your hair is particularly thick or has been treated, your stylist may opt to use the Prep Rich Balm in place of the Mild Cream.

To get those BIG vibrant waves, we’ll need the Blow Dry Primer. But because this isn’t an updo, but beachy waves, which will keep the frizz out but leave your hair with a bit of the day after look that is so hard to achieve when it’s not actually the day after!

After a light touch of Davines Perfect Hairspray, your stylist will add some Volume Creator to give extra texture with a matte finish.

These are just a couple of styles and a few products available from Davines. Visit your local hair salon that carries Davines products and ask the stylists about which ones are right for you to take home.
